The Washington Redskins will kick off the 2010 season on Sunday Night Football when they play host the Dallas Cowboys. There you go Redskins fans. The team will open the first two games at home against two Texas teams, Dallas and Houston. It is critical for the Redskins to win one of those games, but it won't be easy as they faced Tony Romo and Matt Schaub on back-to-back weeks.
The rest of the schedule is brutal, but most of the tough games are at home. They host the Packers, Colts, and Vikings. Along with their divisional opponents, the Redskins will play against several top-rated quarterbacks that includes Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler, Vince Young, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre (if he doesn't retire again).
However, every football fan will have October 3rd marked on their calenders. Why? Because Donovan Mcnabb will return to Philly wearing a Redskin uniform. This will be football theater at its best and everyone will turn in to see how Mcnabb will be greeted by Eagles fans. I'm excited for this game already!!
Overall, a brutal but manageable schedule for the Redskins. They should be a much better team in 2010 under coach Mike Shanahan.
