What to look for tonight in Baltimore?

Well, the Redskins will finally play real football tonight as they faced their regional rival, The Baltimore Ravens. No Redskins fan should assume that this team will go to the super Bowl if they beat the Ravens. In fact, nobody should care who wins tonight game, because the 2nd and 3rd team units will be playing in the 2nd half, and most of those players are trying to earn a spot on the 53 man roster. Also, please don't say that Colt Brennan should be the starter after like a couple of series versus like the second team defense from the Ravens.

What is important though is to see how the starters perform in the 1st Quarter. How does Jason Campbell performs in his second year of the west coast Offense, and how much progress Malcolm Kelly, and Devin Thomas have shown during the off season and training camp as well. Will the Offensive Line, and Defensive Line be much improved from last season? And how much depth we have at Linebacker, free safety, and corner back slots?

These questions will likely be fully answered as the regular season progresses, and some could be answered throughout the preseason as well. However, some key players such as Clinton Portis and Albert Haynesworth will not be playing tonight because Portis hates the preseason, and Haynesworth is still taking precautions on his right knee.

We shall see what happens tonight as all Redskins fans are eager to see their team for the first time in 2009.
