No major injuries through Training Camp

Hello skins fanatics!!! Other then a few minor hamstring injuries for several key players that kept them out of last Saturday's scrimmage and a ankle injury from rookie offensive linemen Jeremy Bridges, training camp went without any season ending injuries unlike last season.

This past Saturday, fan appreciation day was held at Redskin Park. The gates opened an hour early then last year to avoid heavy traffic around the park. Once again, the team set a new attendance record for the event; 29,000. Jason Campbell did play in the scrimmage as well as the other 2nd and 3rd string QBs. A full recap of the scrimmage is on redskins insider link.

Today, the team is now preparing in full pads, for their first preseason game this Thursday night against the Ravens. Today is the hottest day of the summer as temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees. Look for workouts and preparations to be shorten today due to the heat.

As always, stay tuned to redskins beat for the latest breaking news from Training Camp, and also later on today, this site will be re-branded to a new URL name and a new twitter feed for the name as well. The name itself will be revealed today.
